Mobile App Content

Introduction

This documentation covers how to manage mobile app content for your event.

Setting Your Password

Using the username you were provided, you can set a password here. After entering your email, you will receive a link to set a new password.

You can also use this process to reset your password if you have forgotten it.

Logging In

Once you have set your password, you can log in here. Enter your username and password to access your account.

Check the Remember Me checkbox to avoid being signed out automatically. Without this option checked, your session will expire after a period of inactivity.

If this is your first time signing in from a given device or you have not accessed the platform in a while, you will be prompted to enter a verification code sent to your email.

Both the default session timeout (when not using Remember Me) and the two-factor verification code are security measures to prevent unintended access to participant information and other internal information on the platform.

Getting Started

To manage app content as an event organizer:

  1. Log in to your account
  2. Click on your organizer in the left-hand navigation
  3. Click on the event you want to manage (make sure you are clicking into the correct year's event)
  4. Navigate to the Manage tab for the event
  5. Click Mobile App in the sidebar

From the Mobile App page, you can customize Information, Sponsors, Announcements, and Map Features using the tabs at the top of the page.

Information

The Information tab allows you to add informational content that participants can view in the app. Common uses include:

  • Event schedules and timelines
  • Parking and transportation details
  • Packet pickup information
  • Course descriptions
  • Post-race festivities

Each information entry can include a title, content, and optional link. You can reorder entries by dragging them to change their display order in the app.

Sponsors

The Sponsors tab lets you showcase your event sponsors in the mobile app. For each sponsor, you can add:

  • Logo image
  • Website link
  • Name (not displayed)

Sponsors can be reordered by dragging them to change their display order in the app.

Announcements

The Announcements tab enables you to post time-sensitive updates to participants. Announcements are displayed in chronological order based on their publication time.

Use announcements to communicate:

  • Weather updates
  • Course changes
  • Important reminders
  • Last-minute schedule changes

Map Features

The Map Features tab allows you to add points of interest to the course map in the mobile app. Common map features include:

  • Aid stations
  • Medical tents
  • Restrooms
  • Spectator viewing areas
  • Parking locations

Each map feature includes a title, description, icon, and location coordinates. You can add features individually or use the mass import option to upload multiple features from a CSV file.
